Inspiration Rebreather
In 1997, after many years of intensive Research and Development,
AP Valves of the UK launched the world’s first production
closed circuit rebreather – the award-winning and best-selling
INSPIRATION CCR. |
 |
With 3 liter cylinders, easy maintenance and simple
preparation - the Inspiration brought the benefits of optimal
gas consumption and gas mix at all depths to the forefront of
diving.
Quickly becoming the choice of expedition divers, filmmakers
and sports divers alike, ranging from beach diving to RIB diving.
Right up to 150m expedition dives such as on the Carpathia expedition
led by Richard Stevenson.
This unit is still the leading CCR on the market with thousands
of dives conducted the unit is safe reliable and great to dive.
In 2005 we saw the introduction of the revolutionary Vision
electronics package with integrated Trimix decompression software,
CO2 temperature monitor, and Heads Up Display, more information
on each unit can be found below by clicking on the to the manufactures
website (click
here) for a detailed technical breakdown. |
The unit is still available in the Classic form
but for the same price you can purchase the unit with new VISION
electronics.
How to Buy a rebreather
An inspiration rebreather is not available direct from the manufacturer,
when you book a course your instructor will order your unit,
be prepared as their will be a waiting list, once the unit has
been delivered to your instructor and you have paid for the
unit you will begin your rebreather course. Richard Stevenson
has taught as many inspiration divers how to use closed circuit
than any instructor and takes care of the entire process for
you. Inspiration Courses learn

Introducing the EVOLUTION
Closed Circuit Rebreather
Weighing just 24kg with 2 x 2 litre onboard cylinders the
Evolution is a 1/3 smaller than the Inspiration - it is compact,
light, streamlined and a dream to dive with.
|
The Evolution has built on the foundations of the Inspiration
taking the best of its features - including the unique dual
independent oxygen control system (patented) and the unsurpassed
over-the-shoulder counterlung design which offers the lowest
hydrostatic pressures of any CCR ever built.
Vision Electronics The whole is worth more than the
sum of its parts...
At the heart of the new generation APD rebreathers lays the
Vision electronics package.
By combining the reliable, performance benchmark, oxygen control
of the Inspiration Classic with the latest manufacturing methods
used in high volume dive computers and extending their features,
the Vision electronics bring even easier diving, simple yet
innovative and advanced warning systems and simple upgradeability
to allow not just safe software updates but also Hardware developments
as they occur - future proofing your investment. |
The Inspiration and Evolution are specialist pieces of dive
kit and will only be sold by APD to properly qualified divers
who have successfully completed a unit-specific course with
one of these recognised agencies. It is absolutely essential
that the type of diving practiced should always be appropriate
to the level of training and experience achieved. |
